These Terms of Service govern your use of Solus — One Intention ("Solus"), an iOS application developed and operated by Calvin Ng, based in Singapore.
By downloading or using Solus, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Solus is a single-purpose focus app. It allows you to set one intention per day. The core experience is free, with no expiry and no hidden restrictions.
Solus offers optional in-app purchases processed entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit framework.
Buy a Coffee is a voluntary one-time purchase to support the developer. No features are unlocked. This is simply a way to support Solus if you find it useful. Available from V1.1.
Solus Supporter is a one-time purchase that unlocks additional features within Solus, including deeper daily rituals, personalisation options, and platform extensions. New features will continue to be added to this tier over time. No subscription, no auto-renewal, no recurring charges. Available from V1.2.

For refund requests, contact Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com. Solus has no ability to issue refunds independently of Apple.
A future version of Solus will offer optional iCloud sync for users who have made a feature unlock purchase. When active, data is stored in your personal iCloud account managed entirely by Apple. Solus does not operate any servers and never receives your data directly. These terms will be updated before that feature ships.
Solus is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
All content within Solus — including the design, code, copy, and app icon — is the intellectual property of Calvin Ng. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without explicit written permission.
Your privacy is important. Solus stores all data locally on your device. No personal data is collected, transmitted, or shared with third parties. For full details, refer to the Privacy Policy.
Solus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Calvin Ng does not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of bugs. Use the app at your own discretion.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Calvin Ng shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Solus, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of revenue.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or App Store update notes. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of Solus after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

Solus is built on the belief that an app asking one thing of you should ask nothing else. That extends to your data. Solus is designed to collect as little as possible, keep everything on your device, and never use your information for anything beyond making the app work.
This policy explains what Solus stores, why, and what your rights are. It is written to be read, not avoided.
Solus stores the following information locally on your device. Nothing in this list is transmitted to Solus or any third party:
All of this information is stored using Apple's standard on-device storage systems (such as SwiftData or UserDefaults). It exists solely to make the app function correctly and to preserve your experience between sessions.
All data remains on your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud sync. Solus does not transmit your data to any external servers it controls.
From a future version of Solus, Supporter users will have the option to sync their intention history and journal entries across their Apple devices using iCloud.
Apple's privacy policy governs any data stored in iCloud and can be found at apple.com/legal/privacy.
Solus offers optional in-app purchases processed entirely through Apple's StoreKit framework. Solus does not see, handle, or store any payment or billing information. All transactions are managed directly by Apple.
